The Wanderer
Raphael Gimenes
GENRE Slow burning twilight
Emerald fireflies:
Brief fascination
Lasting impression
Siilent valley
Glaciers dreaming:
(the) wilderness pours out
Of all my senses
And as I wind through hills of hope
I face the raging winds of illusion
My mouth is dry, my lips frostbitten
But I’m gonna embrace the night sky
And lose myself
Beautiful morning:
Passion and glory
Dewing the tundra
Where we were laying
Dawning perception:
No constellations
Will guide me further
Than into your arms
Deep in the highlands
I have got a simple question
With complex answers
And I’ve been searching for a way to simplify them
But I can’t fathom
The force of love
Over the rugged peaks of grief
A mist is passing
And I am waiting
To catch a glimpse of two elusive birds:
Discernment and resolution
But now, the trek I chose to undertake is ending
And I am ready
To find a place where I can settle down
And finally, just listen to the
Sound of your voice
