Cthulhu Dreams
The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets
GENRE "Oh my, you scare easily. I'd really like to glance through that book, the Necronomicon?"
"Well, that's impossible."
"I've traveled a long way."
"The library is closing."
"C'mon, give me five minutes"
"Absolutely n-"
"Wait a minute. I don't suppose it'll do any harm."
"Are you crazy?"
"Yog-Sothoth is the gate whereby the spheres meet. Only them from beyond can make it, multiply, and work. Yog-Sothoth is the key. And with the gate open the Old Ones shall meet. Past, present, future..."
(Cthulu dreams)
(Cthulu dreams)
(Cthulu... dreams)
"No part must be missing if the finest effects are to be had, for there is not but..."
(Cthulu dreams)
(Cthulu dreams)
(He waits)
Cthulu dreams in the deep blue sea, his tentacles spreading endlessly, far be it from you or me to resist his horrible energy
"I first saw the creature as it crawled over the ships railing, probably brought up out of the sea by a storm, which had been raging the night before. I gave order to the crew to capture it but it wasn't easy. It was a strange and awful thing. I'd never seen the likes of it before, almost impossible to describe."
"It's body is covered in scales, and its huge, glassy eyes seem to indicate it came from an almost unimaginable depth. It walked upright and had superhuman strength."
"Finally, we were able to get a net over it, but not before it had broken the necks of my second mate, and hurled three of my crew into the sea. We managed to get chains around it, and lock it in the aft hold, but the crew was in panic and near mutiny. I had decided to kill this monstrous evil before it somehow destroyed this ship."
Cthulu dreams in the deep blue sea, his tentacles spreading endlessly, far be it from you or me to resist his horrible energy
Cthulu, Cthulu, Cthulu dreams!
Cthulu dreams in the deep blue sea, his tentacles spreading endlessly, far be it from you or me to resist his horrible energy
Cthulu, Cthulu, Cthulu dreams, dreams
Cthulu dreams in the deep blue sea, his tentacles spreading endlessly, far be it from you or me to resist his horrible energy
Cthulu, ahh Cthulu dreams, dreams, dreams, dreams
Cthulu dreams in the deep blue sea, his tentacles spreading endlessly, far be it from you or me to resist his horrible energy
Cthulu, Cthulu, Cthulu
"In ancient times that book was said to unlock the gates to another dimension, another race of beings. I do not share those beliefs, nor do I fully understand them, however, I know enough about strange things not to laugh."
"Never send a monster to do the work of an evil scientist!"
An advanced being came down from the stars untold millions of years ago. He came in an effort to colonize the planet with his greasy spawn. But the earth already had its horrid inhabitants like the shoggoths, and the Elder Things, so unfathomably great wars erupted, and in a swift cataclysm Cthulu's continent of R'lyeh was plunged beneath the waves. But he is not dead, for that is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange eons even death may die. So he dreams, he calls out to the minds of man, those we see fit to call insane, and he influences, he influences, and one day the time will come when the stars are once again right and Cthulu's continent will rise, rise from the murky waters
There will be a great awakening, and the other great old ones will stir
Tsathoggua, (???), Yig, Glaaki. Ands they'll rise, rise
"Your species is self destructive. You need our help."
Rise, rise, rise. R'lyeh will rise, and the cities of man will fall before their might! Ahh great Cthulu, none shall stand before him! great glorious Cthulu! And you will reign, reign supreme and you will teach man new ways to frolic and enjoy themselves and there will be a new order. Cthulu and his greasy spawn beside him
Ahh Cthulu, Cthulu and me
"And the cities of man shall fall before him!"
